Halloween Kills actor says it might be the nastiest Halloween of them all

HALLOWEEN and THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE actor Robert Longstreet will make his return as Lonnie Elam in Blumhouse and director David Gordon Green's HALLOWEEN KILLS. And today the actor teased it has some "terrifying scenes in it" and it just might be the "nastiest" of them all.
Specifically, Elam says:
I don’t think I can say anything ...  except it might be the nastiest of all of them. It has some terrifying scenes in it.
He adds:
Lonnie is a complicated, troubled guy who is haunted by his past. Particularly chickening out on going into Michael Myers’ house when he was a kid. I think this broke something in him that fucks with his manhood. The Elam family is very unorthodox. They love drugs and alcohol more than most. David said a funny thing to me about that. He said ‘Lonnie knows his wines.’ Ha!!! I don’t think I’m a very appropriate father but I love my son. The stories of mushrooms with Ray continue.
Finally, he says:
The best part of HALLOWEEN KILLS for me was sitting in a makeup trailer next to Michael Myers. That is a full-circle moment that had my inner teenager doing backflips. I got to inhabit my childhood nightmares and become a small part of the mythologies I idolized so long ago and still to this day. What a gift. It’s hard for me to get my mind around it. I’m just grateful as hell.
How excited are you for HALLOWEEN KILLS and HALLOWEEN ENDS? Let us know below! In the meantime, remember that HALLOWEEN KILLS and HALLOWEEN ENDS are set to be direct continuations of HALLOWEEN (2018) which kicked off
40 years after Laurie Strode survived a vicious attack from crazed killer Michael Myers on Halloween night. Locked up in an institution, Myers manages to escape when his bus transfer goes horribly wrong. Laurie now faces a terrifying showdown when the masked madman returns to HaddonfieldIll. -- but this time, she's ready for him.
The current cast includes the return of Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode along with Judy Greer as Laurie's daughter Karen and Andi Matichak as Laurie's granddaughter Allyson. Anthony Michael Hall joins them as adult Tommy Doyle along with Kyle Richards as adult Lindsey Wallace. Jibrail Nantambu is back as young Julian with Robert Longstreet as Lonnie Elam, and Charles Cyphers is rumored to return as Brackett.
Written by David Gordon Green & Danny McBride & Scott Teems, based on characters created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill, it's directed by David Gordon Green and produced by Malek Akkad, Jason Blum, and Bill Block. Carpenter, Curtis, McBride, and Green are executive producers along with Jeanette Volturno, Couper Samuelson, and Ryan Freimann. Ryan Turek oversees for Blumhouse. It hits on October 16, 2020.
