The Board announced Class 12 Results today at around 12 PM in the afternoon on its official result portal, to ensure easy availability of the result information to the students. Following the official declaration, HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal as well as CBSE Chairman took to twitter to congratulate students for their success in CBSE 12th Results 2020. Initial reports indicate that the CBSE Class 12 Result 2020 has seen a growth of 5% in the overall pass percentage, which currently stands at 88.78% as compared to 2019’s figure of 83.40%. CBSE 12th Class Result 2020 Declared Live Update @ 4.00 PM: Rechecking & Revaluation

The Board has notified that the CBSE Class 12 results 2020 could not be released for 400 students. CBSE has stated in its official notification that the results of these students could not be computed even with alternative assessment strategy.

For exams scheduled to be conducted between 1st and 15th July 2020, CBSE will conduct an optional exam as and when conditions are conducive as assessed and decided by the Government of India. Students whose CBSE 12th result 2020 have been declared as per the alternative assessment strategy will be allowed to appear in these optional examinations in case they wish to improve their scores. For candidates appearing in the optional exams, marks obtained in the exam will be considered final for with regards to their CBSE Board Class 12 result 2020.
